Great biblical teaching in a traditional Baptist style (usually a bullet point outline). Preaching is live (not on a screen). Fantastic children’s ministry and helpful/kind staff. Good security in place, especially for the kids. Multiple service times. They offer adult Sunday school classes as well. Most people dress up, “more than casual”. Guys were mostly in collared shirts and long jeans or khakis (even in the summer), a few were in suits and ties. Women were mostly in dresses. It is big and easy to get lost as a first-time visitor but there was always a helpful person to help us.

My family and I have been visiting there regularly for a a couple of months. Loved it! Phenomenal music and the preaching is exceptional. When I leave there I can honestly say I have worshipped. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming.

Easter Sunday was great!! Uplifting and Choirs/Orchestra/Band fantastic. Preaching always good. Small Group helps support each other with teaching and praying for one another.

“We believe that God created each child as a unique individual. Therefore, our program provides experiences that will enhance each child’s development mentally, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually in a Christ-centered environment“ This is part of their description for their preschool. My niece was just pretty much discriminated because of her recent discovered condition; speech and language delay. We have been in the works in getting her assigned with therapist and in fact the director of this preschool said she will help in any way! Reducing the time in preschool will not help at all! Their excuse is that they are not equipped!! I am very disappointed in this”program” and are not recommending it at all. All because of a condition, they will try to get rid of your child!

This is a very good church fellowship with a ministerial staff par excellence. Pastor Buddy Grey is heartfelt, humble, and amazingly accomplished in sermon delivery. He is so unassuming and down to earth that I had been talking to him for over 30 minutes before I ever realized that he was the lead pastor in my first opportunity to meet him. Though the church is large, it never feels like a big place.

Yes, it's a large church, but that just means more fellow believers in Christ to cheer you on! You can get that smaller church feel when you join a Small group (meet at 8:00 am, 9:30 am, 11:00 on Sunday). These are the heart and soul of what Hunter Street is... learning with each other while studying God's Word, these individuals pray for you, minister to you, rejoice with you...they become your friends and even family if you need one in the area!😊 Then as a group you can go forth and help others in our city, state and all over the world. A large church that acts like a small around the corner church!!!
